Well for the second year in a row we have freak weather after Photo Plus expo. This year, instead of a freak blizzard we have a freak hurricane . With everything closed down, the news singing the doom song, I decided to go for a quick photo walk.

There were not a lot of people out.

The roads were mostly clear

Things were weird.

Monday morning and the train station was empty, all mass transit in the area shut down.

My Town South Orange , NJ was damn near empty in its center, except people heading toward power company jobs.

Only one shop was open, Cate & Abbeys bakery.

Starbucks was even closed.  (not much of a loss there)

As the wind picked up, and more rain  came down and  more leaves started to fall I headed home.

I thought I would walk a little longer but nature had other plans

Tree branches starting fall is a good sign to go in and have a cup of coffee
